U D Trucks Corporation is a Japanese company which is responsible for manufacturing and selling of medium and heavy duty diesel buses and trucks and also produces chassis for bus and special vehicles. Today the company is owned by Volvo Group formerly the company was known as Nissan Diesel. The name UD has its presence since 1955 but the now UD has a different meaning.
The U D 2000 is a heavy duty truck that was manufactured by the company when it was under the management of Nissan. U D 2000 weighs approximately 1200 lb s made to run using 6 cylinder engine. The 7.7 liter DOHC I-6 engine generates 230 hp when the engine runs at 2500 rpm and churns out pulling power of 506 lb ft. U D 2000 comes with Allison 5 speed automatic transmission system. When we compare the same to the NPR, NPR comes with close compression ratio for improved performance and better fuel efficiency.
The rear shoch absorber allows a heavy duty commercial truck to handle well and also makes sure that material loaded in the truck bed is safe enough to be delivered.
UD comes with a seating for four passengers where other trucks in the category are offered with seating for three.

U D UD1800CS comes with a MD-175 16 valve intercooled/turbo diesel engine with inline four configuration with direct injection.
